I, Kristen, started my health journey over 10 years ago, before the advent of internet health blogging (how I wish I had started blogging my journey then! but, alas, I was too tired). I had to figure things out totally alone with just 1 book to help me. There was no info. Can you believe back then you could not even find bones for broth in the store?! Now, it's a thing. I wish I had know then what I know now and had someone to guide me. Fast forward to today and now you have an ABUNDANCE of health information, much of it conflicting, with very important pieces of information missing. You hardly even know where to begin! Carly and I used our nutrition education and personal experiences to provide you with a basic no-nonsense health guide that will help you get started on your health journey right away.
We've included everything from the basics to advanced lifestyle tweaks, so it's suitable for every level. You can start on each principle slowly and incrementally, reserving a week or 2 for each foundation, or you can go full blast and incorporate everything at once. Just be sure to plan for your tendency so you see real success.
